About the job

As an Interior Discipline Leader you are an important link between the project team and the Project Manager. You supervise engineers and work planners during the design phase of a superyacht. They make the 3D and production drawings that are made by the production department. You inspect the drawings for quality and manufacturability and make adjustments if necessary.

You are responsible for the scope, planning and budget for this discipline. You make the planning and distribution of the work and you organize the weekly team meeting. You take into account different departments, such as the engineering, purchasing and production. You then report into the Project Manager. The main goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and to achieve output according to schedule and budget.

About you

For this role we are looking for someone with the following profile:

• You have HBO work and thinking level;
• You have at least 7 years of work experience, preferably in the yacht interior construction or furniture industry;
• You have professional insight into engineering and production processes;
• You know better than anyone else how to deal with MS software packages and you also have knowledge of 3D drawing packages such as AutoCAD. It’s a bonus when you have knowledge about Siemens NX, Teamcenter and TopSolid'Wood;
• You have a good command of the English language, verbally and in writing.
